Who’s up for another challenge?

Have you ever tried price matching?  Yet another great way to save money!!!  You’ve probably heard about it, once you realize just how easy it is you’ll be hooked!!!!

How to Price Match – Simply bring your current flyer to a store that will Price Match (Wal-Mart, No Frills, etc…) show the cashier your circled item along with the product (I put the flyer on top of the products I am price matching so I don’t forget).  The cashier will then ensure the flyer is current and key in that price for your product!  As easy as that!

Perks of Price Matching 

**Saves time, no need to run to each store in order to get the great deals.

**Saves money, gas adds up when you’re running to all of these stores.

**Saves sanity, I always find when there is a big sale on a certain item 9 times out of 10 I get there and it’s gone!  Since my shopping time is precious I find the item I am looking for at (let’s say Wal-Mart) and price match it!  If the item is sold out I ask for a rain check!

**As if I needed one more reason to look forward to the weekly flyers!  But I just can’t wait to get the flyers and see what I can price match!

Price Matching FAQ’s

**It must be a local competitor.  I tried price matching at Wal-Mart in Kingston with an Independent Flyer from Perth and they would not allow it!  (Even though Perth is local to me!)

**You can price match and use coupons on those items which equals double the savings!!

**Make sure your flyer is current, they will check the end date of the flyer so take the entire flyer with you!

**Read the small print about the item you are price matching.  The size, type, etc…they must be the same and does it state a limit?

Well now you have no excuse, you now know how to Price Match!  Time to put it to the test let’s have a Price Matching Challenge!!!!

The challenge will run from October 1, 2012 – November 30, 2012

Every time you price match try to keep track of the regular price at that store and the price you are price matching the item for.  Keep a tally of the money you have saved price matching.
